Arielle is a dynamic and passionately dedicated dancer, instructor, and choreographer who is from Orlando and Miami, Florida (USA). She has been dancing full time in Cairo since 2019. Arielle’s infatuation with raqs sharqi began when she was growing up in Egypt, where she fell in love with Middle Eastern culture, music, and dance. Her first bellydance performance was in Cairo at age 10 and she has been obsessed ever since. Having lived 1/3 of her life in the heart of Egypt, Arielle’s unique experience gives her an insider’s understanding of the music and culture. This allows her to relate to Egyptians and people from the Middle East in an authentic and genuine way, while also sharing all the goodies with her foreign students. Arielle strives to stay true to the essence of raqs sharqi, while exploring ways of keeping it fresh for her beloved audiences and students. 

Arielle is the winner of several competitions and was a finalist on Egypt’s first bellydance competition show, Al Rakessa/The Bellydancer, which was directed and judged by the infamous dancer Dina in 2014. As a result of Arielle’s success on this TV program, she became an overnight sensation in Egypt and currently holds the heart of the Egyptian people due to her ability to represent the dance and culture with love, respect, and authenticity. 

Arielle has a background in burlesque, hip hop, flamenco, samba, African, ballet, jazz, modern/contemporary, fire dance, ballroom, Bollywood, Middle Eastern folk, and many others. This all contributes to her unique style, which ranges from sassy to sorrowful, feminine to fiery, goofy to elegant. Thanks to Arielle’s background in many styles of dance, her style is full of flair and sass, which always keeps her audiences guessing. Arielle is currently located in Cairo, Egypt and teaches online live and recorded group classes every Sunday.
