7:45 pm Belly Dance Technique - Intermediate Level & Beyond
FLOOR WORK FOCUS - SUMMER SPECIAL
Level: Intermediate & up, at least 2 years of Dance Experience recommended.
This summer session we will have a 5 week focus with floor work in this technique class.
We will start with a warm up 30 mins with dance moves and combos to get us warm and then we will take it to the floor
BRING a mat if you want or knee pads.
We focus on Raqs Sharqi Technique ( or know as Belly Dance ) in this class.
Strengthen your shimmies, footwork, arm paths, undulations, and hip articulations in this fast paced, continuously moving class.
You will build endurance in the dance by moving for the whole hour. Some combos will be taught to enhance our strength and fluidity in our dance. We will touch on musicality and rhythms.
* you can take this class by itself or combine with the 6:45 pm Class before
