6:45 - 7:45 pm Belly Dance Technique - Intermediate Level & Beyond  

Level: Intermediate & up, at least 2 years of Dance Experience recommended. 

We focus on Raqs Sharqi Technique ( or know as Belly Dance ) in this class. 

Strengthen your shimmies, footwork, arm paths, undulations, and hip articulations in this fast paced, continuously moving in this class.  You will build endurance in the dance by moving for the whole hour.  Some combos will be taught to enhance our strength and fluidity in our dance.  We will touch on musicality and rhythms. 

* Monday Jan. 12th 6:45 - 8:45 pm - 2 hour Special class with Zahra Zuhair Veil choreography class

• This class included in both packages 1 hour or 2 hour on Monday as 2026 gift to my students.

• Jan. 19th Emily Marie will be teaching the classes after that.

Esaal Rohak Choreography Class

Rhinestone Revolutions April 18th 2026 in Columbus OH put on by Athena

We will be learning a 4.5 min choreography to Esaal Rohak or Isa'al Rouhak tranlated to "Ask your Soul"

Esaal Rohak is a famous Egyptian song, composed by Mohamed El Mougi and originally sung by Umm Kulthum.

This dance is apart of a 25 min song where different groups are selected to dance a section for this collaborative number.

Our section we will be working the Valtz ( Waltz ) rythm or know as a 3/4 version of the Darji rythm.

Steps and turns will be use in this choreo. Also we will be working with Qanoun accents in this portion of the song.

We will learn a 4.5 section of this song in class dancers will have an opportunity to perform on April 18th on stage.

Only if dancers are confident and comfortable in the choreography.

We will also use this edited section in other shows -

so if you cannot perform on April 18th don't worry we will perform another time this choreo as well.

There will be costume that will be ordered for this show - at a reasonable budget for everyone.

Costume will be conservative - you will be able to where you own bra in this costume.

• We will also reveiw veil Choreography we will learn from Zahra Zuhair on Jan. 12th in this class too!

• Jan. 12th Specail Zahara Zuhair Veil Choreo will be inclueded if you sign up for the whole session.

Take this choreo class by itself or take with the technique class before and get extra training.

This class is not taught online only in person at studio Z.

NOT a Beginner Choreo - Intermediate and beyond level. *

THIS CLASS is only taught IN PERSON.

Video homework on an unlisted youtube link will be included in this class.
