In this program, students will: Learn how to hold and handle the cane with confidence. Practice basic Assaya techniques such as twirls, swings, and accents. Explore the joyful Saidi rhythm that inspires the dance. Put it all together into a complete beginner choreography full of energy and personality. By the end of the course, students will not only know a full routine but also understand the character and spirit of Raqs Assaya. Level: Beginners – no prior experience needed. Format: Step-by-step instruction, cane drills, rhythm practice, and choreography breakdown.
